The FEI World Rankings for January 2026 showcase familiar faces at the top whilst celebrating remarkable climbers making their mark on the international stage.
Showjumping
Kent Farrington (USA) begins the new year at number one in the Longines Rankings, followed by Great Britain’s Scott Brash and Germany’s Christian Kukuk. Ben Maher (GBR), Gilles Thomas (BEL), Richard Vogel (GER) and Laura Kraut (USA) round out the top seven.
The major story is France’s Nina Mallevaey breaking into the Top 10 for the first time in her professional career. The 26-year-old’s consistency throughout 2025 has propelled her to the elite of international jumping, with strong performances in Thermal, USA, during December delivering several top-five finishes.
Mallevaey ended 2025 as FEI Jumping U25 Ranking number one and now sits eighth in the Longines Rankings, joining Kraut as one of only two women in the Top 10.
Team USA remains atop the Longines League of Nations ranking, a position they’ve held for a year. Belgium sits second, followed by France, Ireland and Germany.
Dressage
Justin Verboomen (Belgium) maintains his number one position five months after reaching the top, alongside his nine-year-old black stallion Zonik Plus. Great Britain’s Becky Moody climbed two spots to second, followed by Germany’s Isabell Werth. Charlotte Fry (GBR) moved up one place to fourth, whilst compatriot Carl Hester returned to the top five.
Para-Dressage
Fiona Howard (USA) and Team USA maintain the top spot in both individual and team rankings. Sara Morganti (Italy) and Rixt van der Horst (Netherlands) remain second and third respectively. Italy and Germany hold second and third in the team ranking.
Eventing
Harry Meade (Great Britain) maintains the top position in the world ranking for the eighth consecutive month, followed by USA’s Boyd Martin. Current European Champion Laura Collett (GBR) holds third place, with Tim Price (New Zealand) and Rosalind Canter (GBR) completing the top five.

The leaders of the FEI Driving World Rankings remain unchanged at the start of the new year. Reigning World Champion Boyd Exell (Australia) continues to dominate the Four-in-Hand division, whilst Stan van Eijk (Netherlands) leads the Pairs category. In Singles, France’s Marion Vignaud heads the rankings.

The January rankings set the stage for what promises to be an exciting 2026 season. With breakthrough performances from riders like Mallevaey, alongside the consistent dominance of established stars, the year ahead offers compelling storylines across all disciplines.
