Victoria Scott (27) has been based in France for the past three years, where she has been developing a career in eventing with her three horses. Before moving to France she achieved a Bachelor of Education, with Honours in Special Needs Education from the University of South Africa. She has been riding horses since the age of four and has won both the South African Children’s championships for eventing as well as the South African Junior championships for eventing. Her top horses name is Song du Magay, he is a nine-year-old, bay, Selle Francais, gelding by Yarlands Summer Song. She has owned Song for two and a half years and has brought him up the grades slowly. Horse and rider are now qualified for the Olympics after a very successful result at Bramham International Horse Trials in the United Kingdom earlier this year. Song is relatively young for the top level but has proved his top class abilities time and again with beautiful dressage and powerful jumping.
