Access restricted to ICB this weekend owing to the Hound Walk and Eventing Classic

[dropcap][/dropcap]Access to Inanda Country Base will be restricted this weekend. On Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th May an event called the GeekFest is being held on the Polo Crosse and the main arena showground. They are expecting 6,000 people per day. The area below the water jump will be used for parking. There will be no access through the West Gate, which will be used as the main entrance for the GeekFest.

Access to the Polo Crosse and showground area is restricted and unless you pay to attend the GeekFest you are asked to keep away and to not even use the causeway to cross. On the northern side of Base please do not attempt to ride below the wooden fence along the track.

Riding access will be from the stables or the main gate, along behind the Clubhouse and into Bensons, and from Bensons above the kennels onto NewFarm and the cross country area. But please remember to return the same way.

Please cooperate with us for this weekend as this event will bring good income for ICB to help cover the running costs of the Land that we all ride on and enjoy for the rest of the year.

Eventing Classic
This weekend will also see our Eventing Classic, which will be the first show on the Bowl in front of the Clubhouse. You are encouraged to come and watch what should be some exciting jumping and have coffee, drinks or a bite to eat in the Clubhouse.

Hound Walk
If you are joining the hound walk on Sunday morning, you need to access the kennels from the back gate on the northern side of ICB. This is reached by driving around ICB on Bridle Pass Road. Drive below Sue’s cottage and park at the kennels and leave the same way.
