It&#8217;s a bit scary! Any advice on how I can stay in the saddle a bit more?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A: It sounds as though you are getting too far forward when you jump, and letting your legs slide backwards. Practise your jumping position in trot and canter. If your legs slide backwards, you will tip forwards onto your pony&#8217;s neck, so you need to get it right and get the feeling so that you can keep the correct position when you are jumping.<\/p>\n<p>As you go over the jump think of pushing your legs forwards and your heels down. This should really help your position.
