It&#8217;s thick and difficult to get a brush through.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A: Tails need some care to get them into shape. Start by standing at the side of your pony and taking his tail in one hand. Shake a few hairs free and brush through these with a body brush, making sure every strand is clean. Then shake out some more and repeat until the whole tail is finished.<\/p>\n<p>There are some great mane and tail conditioners you can spray on to keep your pony&#8217;s tail dirt- and tangle-free. You can also detangle tails with your fingers &#8211; but don&#8217;t use a dandy brush or a curry comb on the tail as you&#8217;ll break and pull out the hairs.
