BOOTS INTRO

As most of us know, horse boots are worn to protect and support the front and back legs during training, competition, turnout, stabling, therapy or travel. The work you choose to do or your horse’s circumstantial needs will determine the type of boots he should wear.

We are spoilt for choice when it comes to boots, and these days boots are even more innovative and technologically advanced than ever before. Boots come in a variety of materials and are secured with Velcro, buckles or clips.

With so many options available, it can be tricky to pick out the best boots for your horse. We’ve put together a guide for choosing the best boot to suit your horse’s needs.

Over the next few days we’ll be featuring a variety of types of boots and explaining why you would choose to use those particular boots. If you have any questions about your particular horse and their situation when it comes to boots, please send through an e-mail to hq@panorama.co.za and we will aim to answer your question here online.
