Bandages come in the form of either exercise or stable bandages. Exercise bandages are typically used by dressage riders or when the horse is being lunged. Stable bandages are worn overnight and offer the horse additional support and protection. The bandages themselves offer minimal support to the leg, and are usually worn in conjunction with bandage fillers. Bandage fillers are loose support pieces that have to be fitted around the legs and then secured and fastened with the bandage.
