The story so far (Thursday 18 – Saturday 20 December)
Thursday’s Opening – British dressage dominance: Lottie Fry and Glamourdale won the FEI Dressage World Cup Grand Prix with a score of 80.783%, heading an all-British podium after Charlotte Dujardin led for most of the competition. Becky Moody and Jagerbomb placed third.
The evening featured the spectacular Puissance, where 20-year-old Rachel Proudley and Easy Boy De Laubry Z successfully defended their title by clearing a personal record height of 2.21m (7ft 3in), becoming the only combination to clear the final round.
Friday – Fry strikes again: Charlotte Fry and Glamourdale claimed victory in the FEI Dressage World Cup Freestyle with a stunning score of 89.170%, using their new flying-themed freestyle that was premiered at the Europeans. In showjumping, Victor Bettendorf took his second win at London, topping the CSI5*-W 1.55m Longines Christmas Cracker, while Jessica Mendoza won the 1.50m Brilliance Auction Snowball Stakes on home soil.
Saturday – Six-bar spectacle: John Whitaker and Sharid shared the Cavago six-bar victory with Seb Hughes and Colorado Volo after both combinations cleared 1.80m in the third round but had run-outs in the fourth.
Showing success: In the Rising Stars hunter championship, Yorkshire-based Kaitlin Mason and her Welsh part-bred Questiontime won both the small and heavyweight hunter title and the overall 2025 Rising Stars Hunter Champion spot.

- Final showing championships, including the BSPS Heritage Championship, showcasing Britain’s native pony breeds
- The traditional Christmas Finale with Father Christmas arriving in a horse-drawn carriage
